The Cape Partnership has launched today a dedicated research arm called UniversityPhilanthropy.com.

The purpose of UniversityPhilanthropy.com is to look exclusively at trends in philanthropy and giving to universities.  The focus of our research is on UK giving to non-UK universities, reflecting The Cape Partnership’s recent client work with a number of international universities looking to build profile and presence in the UK.

Announcing the launch, The Cape Partnership’s Andrew Wigley said: “There is a clear demand among non-UK universities to understand the boom in philanthropy in centres such as London.  There are many complex reasons for this growth, such as private wealth accumulation as well as government efforts to encourage philanthropic institutions and giving.  UniversityPhilanthropy.com aims to provide insights as well as greater clarity on philanthropy as it relates to university giving”.
